I remember feeling like this when I lived in the US. and that was before the current golden age of widening income inequality.

When politicians claim that taxing extreme wealth is controversial, ask what they're really motivated by.

Fascism is enabled by silence. Speaking out may seem inconsequential when media outlets are owned by right-wing ideologies and there's more money to be made by dividing than uniting people. But if we don't speak out we let hatred continue to carry the agenda.

Reform UK would give a 20 Percent tax break to private healthcare providers. Do Reform supporters who say they care about the NHS know that this is self-contradictory? Then again, NF said he would 'never' side with medical experts who note paracetamol does not cause autism.

How many people who say they would vote for Reform know or care what Reform says it will do?
November 19, 2025 at 6:06 PM
It's crucial to keep calling out Reform's hatred of everyone who differs from their native-born, white, male, hetero, non-disabled, cisgender ideal.

Funny how small-state cheerleaders on the right are acting like the degradation of public safety and public services is a surprise. It's part of the lie of populism.

Why is Nigel F on BBC Radio Five Live preaching his counterfeit gospel of unregulated market capitalism?
November 3, 2025 at 11:36 AM
The counter-narrative to Reform's scare-mongering is the deliberate, mindful practice of being fully human, fully civilised, by welcoming those who seem different.

Time to stand up to NF who as a boy seemed proud of his initials being those of the National Front (Michael Crick, <One Party After Another>). Fairness to foreigners through law has been part of being British since Anglo-Saxon kings' protection extended to those unprotected by local kinship ties.

The Rosebank oilfield does not yet have final government approval. The consent granted in 2023 was ruled unlawful. It didn't account for the 250 tonnes of CO2 Rosebank would emit . More than 11 billion trees would have to be planted to offset it! Ask Ed Miliband to oppose!
October 16, 2025 at 4:39 PM
2 Expanding oil fields is irresponsible environmentally. It is arguably immoral. It is also bad economics. If you are in the UK, please write to your MP to urge him or her to oppose the Rosebank oil fields and other oil nad gas expansion plans.
