NM. Apparently the Army Corps of Engineers needed to fit tall barge under a low bridge around Lemont, and the best solution was to lower the entire 75+ mile river system (Cal-Sag, Chicago River, the Sanitary and Ship Canal, etc.) by a couple feet.
It should be back up to normal 24 hours from now.
