I agree with this - optimistically. The politicisation has gone so overboard this last week that it’s likely to backfire sooner or later.

This is very typical of the hysterical conflations going on. We aren’t talking about the cause of the attack and that’s not what I was commenting on. We’re talking about crowd behaviour at the memorial.

Unfortunately it shows the level of Zionism in Australia. These people blame Albanese for there being weekly protests against Israel’s actions even though there’s no relationship between the protests and the terrorist attacks. He’s being scapegoated.

That behaviour reflects very poorly on the people who chose to do that given it is a memorial event - and sadly on whatever political movement or community they claim to be representing too.

Certainly came across as though she doesn’t care about making Higgins’ life worse but wants all this sympathy for things being difficult for her.
