I don’t think big corp books want any sort of skill based gambling. They have to pay for rights and employ people to set odds, this eats into bottom line where online casino doesn’t. Yesterday, Irish Cesarewitch horse race, 30 runner handicap. Some books betting to over 170%!

Thank you. I wasn’t saying it was your problem, just wondered if it had occurred to you, or whether I was getting the conversion maths wrong! I have only risked $100, turned it into $115 and only getting crypto equivalent of $50 back.

Agree to differ. Am closing account. They bet in $ but I can’t load account with $, I have to use crypto and when I withdraw I get crypto back. They are forcing the currency gamble on me.

I probably didn’t explain properly. I will simplify, mainly for me! I spent 5 eth to get $100 with bet105. I now have $115. If I withdraw I get 3 eth as eth has nearly doubled in value. So I win $15 but lose eth2. They should take bet and fund account in the crypto currency. Otherwise exposed.

@mixedknuts.bsky.social confused about @bet105.bsky.social . My account is about 15% up after just under a year. But I funded it with ethereum which they converted into USD. Erhereum is 70% up since I loaded account. If I withdraw I lose loads as will be USD into ETH!

But the only people building houses know their economics and don’t want to. The government can’t afford to, the councils can’t afford to. Maybe reform council tax (£100m Mayfair penthouse same as semi in Bradford) give the extra revenue to councils and mandate them to build houses.
