US aeroplanes just sonic boomed over my house in East Anglia. What will our PM do if UK bases are used to attack a NATO member? If Trump abducts Nielsen (or Carney for that matter, what can anyone do? Only the US can contain the US.

There’s little chance of rejoining the EU in this decade. That doesn’t mean closer ties are not possible if they benefit both parties. But Farage as be possible PM will stop anything really important happening in this Government.

Maybe. I think there was a small chance of getting Russia into the EU and NATO and shoring up its institutions. No one really tried.
