In the run-up to the last Alberta election, an Edmonton Journal columnist gave the major parties an "F" on their healthcare policies, saying they should turn to the ideas of Dr. Peter Attia instead.

The Alberta government has repeatedly insisted that its drug jails (“secure care” Compassionate Intervention facilities) will be only a measure of last resort.
