Quite a few of the texts my partner and I send to each other are variations on a picture like that and the text “I have a kitty.” Case in point:

Looks like they pulled it quickly, and acknowledged their mistake in letting it through their QA process.

Went to look, and it was withdrawn.

Nancy’s Diner in Columbus OH. North of OSU on High Street. Five bucks got you lunch, but it was what they decided to make. Might be hot dogs and baked beans, might be full-on turkey dinner. Get your own damn coffee, and make your own change at the register.

My grandmother knitted this for me!

Nice… I shot yearbook and newspaper photos with one of those (or a Canon AE-1) in high school.

Who has the time to watch that much video? I just worked through the 99PI “Power Broker” recap podcasts this fall while walking to and from work. Probably twenty hours’ worth. (Fascinating and delightful, but ya gotta read the book first, a journey in and of itself.)

The microwave is blinking, but the maid’s already gone?
The extra pillow’s made with duck instead of goose?

Patience. Try to pick out the “amateur shoppers” who only go out to {Costco, Target, the grocery store, etc.} once a year, and avoid them.

In related news, Costco has sliding drawers for cabinets that are high quality and a reasonable price. We just installed eight of them in the kitchen - a game changer!

As a minimalist film camera, it’s held up wonderfully. My daughter used it in HS when she took a photography class, and it was at least thirty-five years old at that point.

I got “Buy Nikon.” from my friend and fellow HS photographer Ron. Maybe that’s where it all went wrong. I bought Pentax and, later, Canon.

It’ll be nice when it’s finished. The Montlake crossing certainly is, but it took a while.

It’s in my neighborhood. Drove past it the other day, in fact.

Worked in a movie theater in high school. My boss and I were the first people in our town to see “Raiders of the Lost Ark.” Amazing movie, it was a VERY busy summer. Our theater didn’t usually get the BIG movies, the United Artists theater in the big mall did.

We saw it a few weeks ago - terrific show!
