20+ years ago when I was living in Portland, I took a photograph there that I loved that was lit by those neon signs. Guessing that wall of payphone is no longer there.

For the past two years, I've been photographing the data centers in northern Virginia, which has more of these buildings than anywhere else in the world.

Luke's story tells the real cost of that day and the remarkable story of an officer who loved the Capitol and was beloved by those who worked there.

Thank you and yes! We were there this past Spring and spent an hour there in that space. These places feel hard to photograph because they felt hard to understand, but it was not difficult to see their beauty.
