Parties need a face to go on the media - who will decide which of the collective leaders gets the gig? Whoever is chosen will give their version of policy - and all the ex-Labour people have a terrible record of following the party line. Because whoever decides that, controls the public image of YP.

He’s offered no apology or acknowledgment that racial slurs are unacceptable. Yet his supporters are out behaving like members of a cult - there’s literally nothing he could do or say that would shake the faith of some of them.

Oh good. The U.K. urgently needs a wealth tax. I very much doubt that she will be brave enough to engage in the level of wealth distribution that is required, however.

My father-in-law - El Alamein, Monte Cassino - had no respect at all for the modern silliness. He marched (when he was still able) with pride. But it actually meant something to him personally. Not this performative bollocks.

Having just applied for a badge on behalf of a relative, I agree completely. It’s difficult, bureaucratic and pointless. Some disabilities are permanent, so why this system?
