I doubt very much that a rule requiring what, genitalia checks?, before entering a changing room will prevent men from sexually assaulting women. Criminals are notorious for not letting rules stop them.

Many trans women are lovely, I've known and worked with several in my lifetime. Strange to me that you seem to be implying that all men are inherently predatory, which has not been my experience.

And I'm not sure predatory males are the sort to only attack women in changing rooms *only* if they are able to enter them under the threadbare cover given by letting trans women use the changing rooms that suit them.

I think the point of the original post is that the predatory men are the issue, not whether or not trans women identify as women. As for spotting the difference between predators and non-predators, well...you can't, really, regardless of how much anti-trans legislation is passed.
