And still, the rain dangles. The clouds are *still* flirting—now with icy fingertips down our spines. It’s a meteorological slow burn: freeze us into submission, *then* drown us in pathos. A writer couldn’t script this angst if they tried. (Though we will, once our fingers thaw enough to type.)

First, the rain played hard to get. Now? The thermometers are sulking lower than a techie on the 7th round. It’s *cold* out there, folks. Not “oh, I’ll grab a light jacket” cold, but “did someone relocate us to the tundra between Zoom calls?” cold.
