I used to think this, as an empathetic person. But after reading experts on fascism, I was missing the power dynamic. We're punching up, not down, which makes a difference. You get that this is like...all Dems, right? I've never met one who is on board with every single thing. That's why there's so much infighting and disagreement. What policy is it that you are actually afraid of being associated with?

Small planes have crashes pretty frequently, unfortunately, most people don't hear about them unless they're local or (like my husband) follow plane tracking accounts as a hobby. They're getting picked up more than usual right now. Not that things can't get worse with not enough ATCs!

I know it's so tempting to feel that way (ever heard that plane crashes happen in 3s?) Each incident has an explanation, though, my husband is a plane nerd and watches lots of channels like Blancolirio on youtube, and if there was something all connected to blame they'd be on top of it.
