BEWARE! It's the Ides of March, which I can't help thinking about in light of current events. Julius Caesar was a megalomaniac who threw himself triumphs and stepped on anyone in his way. The Roman Senate feared he was angling to be an emperor--something that would shatter the republic. Huh.

It says something that when MAGA is nostalgic for our country’s “heritage,” they usually mean times of religious intolerance, racism and rampant misogyny.
