This ice patch at the foot of my driveway this afternoon looks alot like Michigan. You can also make out the UP, surrounding states and Northern Ontario.

4 days after the latest snowstorm, constant freezing temperatures and a slow daytime melt led to a creation of a giant icicle along the eaves of our house. And the freezing rain led to snow drifts to freeze in place, creating a shine on the snowy ground.

I had my hair colored this morning, to a translucent brown, close to my natural color. I hoped for something darker, but it looks great.

After two weeks, we already have about a foot of snow in our yard and a big "mountain" on the side from the plowing. And guess what? It's another snow day on Thursday, Saturdays (maybe), and another "stay home for church day" on Sunday.

This weekend I bought a small Maine "Pine Tree" flag at The Green Store in Belfast. This was the original state flag used until the current state seal flag was adopted in 1901.

Today I proudly hoisted it on our flag pole on our porch, replacing the Stars and Stripes.

Today at UU Rockland, we made "vision boards", where people used drawings, pictures and magazine clippings to display their vision for the year. Here's mine. (By the way, this is my first Bluesky post.)
