I’ve had one, as I said, for 10 years. When I first got it, the built in GPS was nice but I never paid to update it so directions aren’t usable anymore (I use my phone now) and now I just use it to control the radio, phone, and climate. It’s not like it has a TV or anything

I can’t argue the expense, but my touch screen (granted it’s 10 years old) is less distracting than my phone is

I think the latest D&D movie did well, and the critical role show on Amazon is fantastic too

I don’t agree, no. I like technology in cars and the amount of technology in a car is a big factor in what I decide to drive. Plus touch screens usually mean it has a camera system which makes a huge difference

Since writing this post, I’ve actually read the Death’s Heretic trilogy and I agree, that was fantastic. I learned a ton of Pharasmin lore too. Did you know she’s canonically the most powerful deity in the entire setting?

Me, the player, knew it was there but I failed the roll so I made my character act like how the dice came out

What’s fun is when you lean into failed rolls. I failed a perception check to find a secret door and spent the next few minutes arguing with a goblin telling him that he was hearing things. Until an undead cyclops oneshot me to unconscious from behind the hidden door I didn’t see.
