@lbc.co.uk @matthew-wright.bsky.social Has anyone got stats on how many hospitalised flu patients have had the flu jab? I had it once years ago and had the worst flu experience I'd ever had in my 62 years at the time. Now 69, no jab since, and no flu either. And hardly any flu before I was 62.

@matthew-wright.bsky.social I can see mention of your daughter in the Bio but none of your wife. Why not include her too?

@matthew-wright.bsky.social @lbc.co.uk 2) To gain income, it would help if the Govt made sure those on, say, over £70K at retirement, and starting a state funded last salary gold plated pension did NOT have a normal one too. They are taking from the State TWICE! Would save a few million..

@matthew-wright.bsky.social @lbc.co.uk Please stop caning us pensioners for good money management for our old age. No SUVs on the 'never never' no Sky Sports, no foreign holidays (unless we saved) - see 2)

@alimiraj.bsky.social @lbc.co.uk Blasphemy - because Christianity has love others at it's heart it's taken advantage of eg the media obsession with 'O My G*d' everywhere and 'Je***!' in action films - no-one says 'O My Allah' or 'Mohammed!' in Action films!

Main goal this week - finish the (3rd - they've been good to us enabling us to help so many as a small local Debt Advice charity) Lottery Application...every time I apply for funds I can't help believing 'surely they won't say No' but still get the refusals-and we're talking relatively small numbers

I know I keep banging on about this but re pensions - just take out those on last salary pensions earning above £70K out of the State scheme - especially if they're on Govt funded last salary schemes as they are taking Govt money twice!

And more Creditor nonsense. Creditor 1, the original one, transfers to a collector - haven't told the client (FCA rule broken) then transfers it back to the original Creditor (FCA Rule broken)..hard to take these people seriously...

The latest nonsense from a Creditor not adhering to FCA rules - they won't talk to us, despite sending the Client's authority, unless we can tell them the client date of birth - a sort of 'Test' I think. Tempted to throw the rules at them...

@mrjamesob.bsky.social When Farmers talk about earning £30Kare those earnings AFTER being able to afford Isuzu 4WDs and Range Rovers and probably no mortgage on an already inherited Home? Like MPs and their Expenses and Benefits outside the £94K?
