but those people are not being pardoned. the number of incarcerated people being pardoned every year by the president is so low as to be anomalous. the issue at hand is those people are currently all cronies and robber barons. the answer to mass incarceration is not pardons, it is judicial reform.

unless pardons are applied overwhelmingly to disenfranchised people who have been imprisoned for what amount to modern-day vagrancy laws, this take makes absolutely no sense
