No. You need only look at Germany, who are 10y ahead if Australia in the Transition to RE, to see that they are not decarbonising to the same degree that nuclear can.

Economic analysis is necessarily made up if a lot of assumptions. In these cases, both sides assumptions are designed with an outcome in mind. That is why no one can agree. Better to look at actual cases ( Germany vs France). In terms of emissions, France is a clear winner.
