Just a quick reminder that Australia has low inflation, low interest rates and low unemployment. Great conditions to rise out economic uncertainty. Your investments snd super may take a hit but they will recover. Any investment must he considered over the long term. Be patient.

The term "banana republic" came about after American businesses exploited and abused central and latin American countries. I reckon we could now fairly refer ti the USA as a banana republic.

Ukraine wants to purchase 2 unused nuclear reactors from Bulgaria. Mr Dutton has missed out on a bargain! Though I suspect he may have already lined up an American nuclear company which may be lobbying the US Government to support Duttons election bid. No foreign interference to see here!

I tjink that Sam Kerrs behaviour seems quite disgraceful. Anyone behaving that way whilst representing their country and purporting to be a leader should be severely and publicly chastised to provide a disincentive to themselves and others.

A further update. Turkish news media reports that ATC was informed of an oxygen tank explosion aboard the aircraft and that the aircraft made two attempts to land at Aktau.

The point being, aircraft seems to be controllable prior to crashing: it diverted twice and flew some distance from Grosny. Was fuel starvation a factor, perhaps crew management issues. Perhaps misinformation is driving reports of Russian shootdown eg PSYOPS/ Propaganda.

There are many issues regarding Azerbaijani flight crash. The aircraft flew over 400km from Grosny and was in contact with ATC but did not declare emergency. The aircraft could have made a direct approach to runway at Aktau but appears making a base leg turn to approach and crashes short of runway.

Re the Shrine of Rememberence in Melbourne, I object to it being used as a private entertainment venue. If it needs more money to operate, then the Government should provide the needed extra. How much does it cost to run? #AUSPOL

A couple of years ago Tesla announced that it would build a giga factory in Mexico. This year it decided not to proceed. I wonder if there was a deal made with Trump: build your new factory in the USA ibstead with some Gov $ subsidy and I'll give you keys to part of the kingdom?

I saw a good story this morning on Canadian news about the French women. Who was drugged , raped and filmed by her husband and his friends, what a brave woman! She is such an inspiration to courage. Im very saddened by how some men still think of women.
