Running on inflation is a good way to trade power every 2 or 4 years because the party in power does little to affect it, and people think inflation=price levels, and even if inflation is 0, “high prices“ don’t come down.

i don’t understand why all these self-proclaimed statistics experts abandoned expected value in favor of chance of winning and now even winning margin. i mean I do—it’s because the expected value of a 50% chance of an AOC presidency is much, much higher than a 60% chance of a Manchin presidency!
