Ten years ago I though I would go to Poland and have a go at getting an EASA CPL / IR / ME. Spent a lot of time wondering why I was paying so much money to fly a twin-engined aircraft when we seemed to spend most of the time with one of the engines shut down.

In 1939, the SNCASE began work on a 3-seater liaison gyroplane, the SE-700. It had a modern appearance for its time, with a smooth, neat fuselage, an enclosed cabin and a tricycle landing gear. WWII delayed the programme and the aircraft did not make its maiden flight until 1945.
