The main repository of this appears to be specifically Rousettus aegyptiacus (Roustettus fruitbats).

These are prevalent throughout Cyprus, Africa, and the Middle East. We do not have these in the west so, just FYI for those in the UK and Europe, there's no danger from the bats we have here 🥰

Do you think that the Yellowstone basin is likely to be the next mega-eruption? I studied some of the ecosystems there for my degree, and from a geological point of view it seems to be one of the biggest hot-spots?
