They only have a certain time under the rules. It encourages witnesses to stall.

It also encourages folks on the committee to move on in hopes of getting something answered.

My company uses these for controlling keys. If the key is out, it tells you who has it. Local computer for updates of users and keys.

Can be networked to higher office.

There are fairly common systems that use your cellphone. They are secure enough that they are replacing keyed locks on condos.

They require both the phone device NFC identity as well as the matching app code. Haven’t seen those cracked yet.

Any staff member with the right access level can open the cabinets, and there is an access log.

It takes very little time to certify a new shape on an A/C. Hardpoints are standardized across NATO. The same goes for launch rails.

Changes to missiles are rather common. Look at AGM-84, AIM-120, AIM-9, and a whole lot of various bombs.
