So, last time I taught Adaptation, I taught Gaiman's Sandman and the miniseries. My current thoughts on it: So gross. Especially from a guy who could just put out an open call: wanted, fan who'll do (literally whatever kink he wants) and he would have got it. (1 of 2)

Hm. I liked Eggers' Nosferatu--it showed among other things that a proper moustache can make a huge nose on a monster less pointedly read as anti-Semitic. More necrophilia, more stuff that Murnau / Galeen had excised from Dracula, but also more nonsense that later Draculas stuck in.
