Sanibel and Captiva may seem snobby and red.
But the islands are home to many artists, authors, nature photographers, and environmentalists.
It is very laid-back and LGBTQ-friendly. Kids love the beach. The sunsets kick ass. They have great art festivals throughout the year. Beautiful place.
