When we sit and focus on our breathing, we’re not just quietly listening to our own bodies. We’re reducing ourselves to the core of what it is to be alive, to be present in the moment.

You don’t need to wait for conditions to be perfect. You just need to take a breath and pay attention to it.

Over the course of this blip in time we call our lifetime, we experience many different versions of ourselves. The key to happiness might be to remember which one you’re in and to learn to let go of the ones that are past, or yet to be.
