Why is my timeline filled with cats?

Whenever I hear that "70%" of Americans think that the country is heading in the wrong direction, it doesn't necessarily mean that those 70% all want the country to turn towards the right. It could easily mean that 35% want it to go further left, and another 35% want it to turn more to the right.

I'm at the point now where my wife has told me to get off social media, as it's rotting my brain. For my own sanity, I've dialled it back a bit, but I still drop in to X once a day to do a quick strafing run, then get out quick.
