I tried to join Bluesky in January, 2023 when it was invitation only. I was able to join in June, 2023. It was a lonely place back then. Our community has grown to be so vibrant since then and I am very appreciative of the conversations and thoughtfulness on this site. Thank you to everyone!

I grew up going to Zabar's. So many of my childhood memories center around the best lox in NYC (which is saying something). With Saul Zabar's passing today, the Upper West Side has lost a legend who turned his parent's humble store into a culinary institution.

The Supreme Court just rejected Ghislaine Maxwell’s appeal of her criminal conviction for recruiting and grooming teenage girls for sexual abuse by Jeffrey Epstein.
