I forgot to mention that all that I've been doing to play games in stereoscopic 3D with my Quest 2 has been through Virtual Desktop. It's a very cumbersome solution made more cumbersome by the fact that I don't use the Quest 2 with my glasses on.

I should mention that I'm also using Nvidia Smooth Motion with Cities: Skylines II. It helps. Lossless Scaling Frame Generation gave me warping by the UI. The new update brought back traffic. Figuring out "lane mathematics" and the like is too educated for me. I don't have it in me to do that.

That New York Post cover has me like:
a man with a tattoo on his forehead is saying it has only begun
Alt: An FMV video clip from Command Conquer: Red Alert 2 with the Russian president asking, "Is it done, Yuri?", and Yuri responding with, "No, Comrade Premier. It has only begun!"

I recently played some games in MAME and Supermodel using Owl3D's screen recording feature in beta for stereoscopic 3D. It made me desire a Samsung Odyssey 3D and a mini-PC to use with Moonlight to stream games from my "primary" PC. I also tried the new Shantae game with Owl3D. It works quite well.

Seeing people bring up the Nvidia Shield Q-Bert game and The Conduit for Wii in my Reddit feed had me looking for The Conduit and Conduit 2 for Nvidia Shield on the Internet Archive. I could not find them.

So that's pretty cool. After Microsoft bought Kiwi Browser's extension support, my "mobile-compatible" extensions in Edge are now in Edge Canary on Android, even the extensions from the Chrome Web Store. There's an answer to the question, "Who uses Edge on Linux?" The answer is "me."

Overall, I'd say that my mental health is pretty good now. I feel well most of the time and I'm halfway toward this class that'll get me to 12 credits in my master's degree. I doubt I'll take a class during the summer, so it might take three years instead of two, but that's okay!

Corsair issued an expedited RMA after I sent video of the incident taking place. I'm going to take care from now on when plugging in cables and power connectors.

I encountered magic smoke for the first time two days ago. I incorrectly plugged the floppy power cable into my Gotek floppy emulator. I was using a 2025 Corsair HX1200i PSU to have enough power on the 3.3- and 5-volt rails for my Super Socket 7 PC.

There's someone on Reddit... I think he lives in Greece. He has a Pentium 233 MMX, a Cyrix Cx486 40, a Pentium III 800, a Pentium 4 3.01 GHz, a 486 DX4 100, a Pentium II 350, and an AMD 386 DX 40 with a few choice MIDI modules using a single CRT monitor through KVM switches. I can get behind that!

I got an MK1869 XTREME for my birthday from Leo aka Keropi in Greece and Edro aka Marmes in Portugal. I can't wait to receive it. I'm past whatever intense feelings I was feeling in which I sold my Orpheus II. I can't wait to rebuild my Super Socket 7 PC with it!

So, I talked with Robert who's working on Open3DOLED. He told me that he might be able to get it working well enough on 120 Hz OLEDs without black frame insertion. But then he recommended that I use Nvidia 3D Vision instead because I have a set and gaming is in a preliminary state for his project.

Stereoscopic 3D is always esoteric yet try-hard enough for me to be into it. I'm not going back from 42-inch displays, so I think that I'm going to buy a Beelink Mini-PC and use it with a Samsung Odyssey 3D monitor. I see that Beelink has a PCIe 5.0 x8 eGPU attachment for its Intel-based PCs.

I've gotten accustomed to installing Bazzite on my ThinkPads. It "just works" for me. Sure, I might have difficulty installing something like ProtonVPN, but Flatpaks have gotten far enough that it's not an issue for me to not use DNF.

My Total and Permanent Disability Discharge request worked out! I'm so relieved. I'm not getting a master's degree. It would be too much of a financial burden. I suppose that you all deserved to know this given how the stress that this gave me was tearing me apart. I'm graduating in seven weeks.

I've switched over to the original "verification" system here. I'm referring to the one that's domain-based. I needed to work with support to make it work because a previous account's DID was being cached.

Some people just want a proper follow-up to Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed. I used to call that game Return of the Revenge of the Son of Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed Director's Cut Redux Remastered The Criterion Collection.

A while back, I bought Roland's Sound Canvas emulation. I recently saw that that is being discontinued, not that I would want to use Roland's bloated software. I know that nuked-sc55 is becoming a thing, but I compared trevor0402's SC-55 soundfont to Roland's emulation. I couldn't tell them apart.

In WHSmith that day, I REALLY had to go to the bathroom. So, as someone turning nine, I said, "There HAS to be a bathroom here!" I was told, in English, "There's no bathroom here!" Anyway, as someone across the channel, I stared at demos and games, and read through SimCity 2000/3000 books, in Fnac.

Continuing from my previous post, my time in WHSmith was spent in Paris. I was with my uncle who died from lung cancer the next year. I was under a lot of stress then, but I knew that I wanted the Star Wars Encyclopedia. So, I returned to my grandmother's apartment with that encyclopedia.

I follow a lot of English/British people here. It's for the computers. I like computers. I see that WHSmith is being rebranded. I spent a day of my life in Britain, but I spent many summers, winters, and other school breaks in France.
