Yep, Tesco's 😥 and a library 🙂but now my local is The Savoy in Monmouth, reputedly the oldest working theatre site in Wales. It's a brilliant theatre/cinema run by volunteers,so swings and roundabouts.

Last time I was in The Boat (in the Summer) I think it was Butty Bach, could have been HPA from Wye Valley and a couple of others possibly Conwy or Tenby.
The Anchor also has Wye Valley as well as Kingstone beers, probably Gold and Abbey Ale. I recommend the Kingstone 1503 Tudor ale though.

I know the feeling, wife has decided that while she's away with old school friends this weekend that I should uninstall the old dishwasher and install the new one instead of sitting on the sofa with the doggo's watching football/cricket/rugby and having a beer... ho hum

Does he also complain about people in coffee shops on laptops? Because if he does he hates most of our local schools sixth form.
I'd love to do stuff on a laptop in the pub but around here they don't open 'til 3 and never on a Monday/Tuesday.

I'm lucky in that though I live rural the three nearest Lidl's are equidistant roughly 20 mins away. Plus the people round here don't seem to realise what a good deal it is so there are always some left (though yes, they do get a bit samey).
