The Bush and Trump tax cuts combined are in the ballpark of $1T a year. Much of that goes to the middle class. Extending and expanding Trump’s estate tax cuts scores at about a couple hundred billion over the next decade.

Some numbers on the health care fight:
Democrats want to spend about $1.5T more than Republicans over the next decade.
That’s <2% of projected federal spending.
Extending the expiring ACA credits alone — the bottom line for many Ds — is $350B over a decade, or 0.4% of federal spending, using CBO.

Some perspective: The ACA part of the shutdown fight is a little less than 0.1% of GDP.
Or ~0.5% of the federal budget.
It's in same ballpark as cost of Trump's estate tax cut.
It's much less than Elon Musk's potential $1 trillion compensation package.

There seems to be some confusion about the state of play with government funding bills in Congress. There are 12 yearly spending bills.

The House has passed 3 of 12.
The Senate has passed 3 of 12.

The deadline was October 1.
