I recently heard "the physical texts we consume...". Can't they just say "the books we read..."? The use of this verb with regard to books is especially disturbing when you consider its root in the Latin consumo, -ere.

The "Kingdom of Aragon" and the "Kindgom of Granada" are not 'ports', but these terms were communly used in insurance contracts specify that the captain would be stopping at one or more specific ports in these regions (probably to procure and/or divest of merchandise).

In this case, we have a marine insurance contract for 100 Genoese florins underwritten by Tobia Lomellini for goods on the vessel of Ambrogio Cattaneo, sailing from Savona to with ports of call in Naples, the Kingdom of Aragon, the Kingdom of Granada, Cadiz, and Southampton.
