I don't think I'll be able to survive this press tour.

What was it someone called this? The Nic Refn rule? That in order to continue to enjoy someone's art, one must ignore each and every word they ever say.
Although I'm not sure we need bother with Refn nowadays either.

i mean it's based on the book, feels like it's pretty easy to find out about it.

part one yes but i had to stop final reckoning because that film is so bad that I can't listen to his self-praise. I needed him to admit 'you know what it didn't work, it's bad, hands up'. His unmade John Wilkes Booth script is SO good, he needs to just get away from Cruise.

Listening to those Empire/McQ unending interviews, I can't get past the impression that those projects are tantamount to gross negligence. Just write a goddamn script in advance. It's famously the best way.

I'm shocked by all the theatre folk who merrily went back to work with Rudin (and also pleased by those who say they won't). And brace yourself for news about his imminent film comeback.

You could probably stop halfway through that sentence and it would still be a valid question.

can we get rid of 'slams' too please.

If you can't cook you're a failure as a human being (and you shouldn't be allowed to have children).

For us that was this last weekend. The prior weekend nothing, then Roofman, If I Had Legs, House of Dynamite, Spider Woman, After The Hunt. A lot of overlap in those audiences.

the first trailer for Aziz's movie didn't appeal, but the new one looks very fun. I guess he's participation here makes the decision easier.

If they don't release both midweek and call it Wesday then what are we even doing.

I need a theatre one.

What the Tonys does well is that it's a celebration of theatre, and you can feel it. The Oscars every year apologizes for itself 'ugh movies are long, animation is for children'. I don't understand why the Oscars can't be pro-movies. Find a host who likes movies and is relevant to them.

100% this. Especially when you see the original post and then numerous reposts right next to each other.

Remove anyone you follow from ‘Discover’ or ‘Popular with Friends’. I don’t need to see there posts I’ve already seen.

for what it's worth, she's also a very good sport on the George Lucas Talk Show (especially when she Zoomed in from backstage at the Oscars) and also a couple of episodes of Blank Check. Love her.

I have been thinking about (and laughing at) a moment in this film since May. So good.

(although nearly the entire theatre in Cannes cleared out because they didn't realize it wasn't a Nirvana biopic)

I love Jessie Buckley. I love Cabaret. I did not love Jessie Buckley in Cabaret. Your imagined version might be the better option.
