My oldest son got married on Saturday.
Yesterday was the 5 year anniversary of my wife’s passing.
While the day was so full of smiles and joy, he broke down a few times over the course of the day … more than I’ve ever seen him cry over the last five years.

Section 16 is a regular go-to hike for me. 4 mile loop. 15 minutes from home … it’s enough that I feel I completed a decent hike. This morning was heavenly!
I kept having to strip layers because I was so warm … even at 14°!!
