States can't sue each other like that. Texas Dems sued their own state over the gerrymander, saying it disenfranchises Black voters. An appeals court rejected that. Once these cases reach the Supreme Court, can the Justices twist themselves into a pretzel enough to allow Texas but not California? 🤔

They specifically claim to be collecting money for protesters' defense in Facebook ads, so it's quite public. What they'll actually use the money for I don't know.
