So true! I always expected X would be a cesspool of hate, cruelty and immaturity. What I did not expect is that Republican government officials would be filling and happily swimming in that pool all day long. So depressing for the future of our country.

Such a great point. Having worked for a sociopath, it's hard for normal people to understand the rational for decisions made by people who do not feel empathy; for whom others are little more than a means to a goal. It's easy to create a moral rationale where it does not exist.

We would demand politicians shed ideological fervor and lies for truth seeking, even if what we find contradicts our initial belief.

The most difficult problems we face as a society are incredibly complex. If we actually wanted to make progress, we would vote for politicians who are willing to work together, compromise, try new things, experiment and learn.

And when I say "diametrically opposed", I don't mean people who vote for politicians who support policies that ultimately hurt the voters who put them in power. Although that is endemic.

If the math says this is maximum outcome, why wouldn't every team "shoot" for it? If there aren't enough shooters, won't the market supply in the future with every 8th grader practicing daily from the logo?
Limiting 3s sounds fun but too extreme for league. What's realistic? Just accept 3sketball?
