I've come to find out most folks who did stupid crap in their youth are now condemning today's youth for doing the same thing they did in their youth. Especially those who were teenagers in the 1960s and early 1970s. They wanted free sex, drugs and rock and roll for themselves, not for today's kids.

I do the same but only because the elementary and junior high school I went to taught us to read fast but not about comprehension. It was all about how many books you read. Nothing about understanding what you read. I still read paragraphs multiple times for understanding.
