Hello to everyone who recently followed along! (and also to those who've been here a while) I'm Steve and I'm a hobbyist wildlife photographer in eastern Canada. I post a new wildlife photo every day. I hope you enjoy the photos, and don't be shy to engage if you see something you like!

We saw a number of Common Terns on my #pelagic birding tour in the #BayofFundy. Here is a beautiful photo of a tern set against the soft pastel morning sky. As it takes a dump. :)

To attract as many seabirds as possible on my #pelagic birding tour in the #BayofFundy last month, we tossed bits of chopped up fish behind the boat. Here a Great Shearwater is diving for a piece of this chum.

*most lofty authorly voice* Well as we all know, it is important for an artisan to use the finest tools, and store them in the finest receptacles

a handful of novel editing tools (pens, highlighters, post-its, flags) wedged into a blue and green handmade ceramic cup. the cup has tiddies with starfish on them. mermaid tiddies, if you will.
