Guess it depends what audience they're performing for. If it's billionaires and oligarchs it's textbook. If it's the voters who put them there with a desire for change, not so much.

What happens to a human being to make them say publicly "Oh come on, it's not a catch-all, there are some more acceptable levels of raping children aren't there"? Silly me, it's money isn't it.

"Assume" is doing Herculean lifting there. If what you propose comes to pass I will buy you all the beer in the world for life.

I didn't know who Tameka was before this series but she was great fun.

"I don't understand what you mean by morally wrong. And yes, that will be a thousand dollars an hour thank you."

Wow. Even in the deepest, darkest moments any scriptwriter would surely struggle to come up with "the district court's order threatens significant and irreparable harm to the government which outweighs any claimed injury to plaintiffs."

Belting game wasn't it. Proper quality, tension, occasion all the way through.

Thought Szoboszlai myself but Gravenberch makes a huge difference in there.

That's a gorgeous photo of Kenny, not sure I've seen that one before.

Been wonderfully surprised at what an absolute bastard Alan can be. Should be on casting lists for any upcoming serial killer shows or films.

Same, such a shame he became such a bellend. Still listen to The Smiths mind, just tinged with a bit of sadness about what happened to him.

Is that The Changeling starring George C Scott? Scared the absolute shite out of me as a kid that did.

That's spectacular.

Kenny was my childhood football hero and he's remained an icon the rest of my life. He's the best of men. Really looking forward to this Asif, thanks man.

It's possible that Kemi Badenoch has read Terry Pratchett's books. If she has, she hasn't understood a single damned word he wrote or any issue he stood for. Kind of breaks my heart - if you read Pratchett and turned out to be Kemi Badenoch, what a tragedy.

Also advertising all those dates and venues is surely the opposite of undercover?

Disagree, and I'm a Wire addict. It takes for Lester Freamon to show something until it really bursts into life and staggeringness.

Was genuinely amazed to see Omid on that bill. Really thought better of him.
October 4, 2025 at 4:25 PM
Nah it's great. Moody, atmospheric, and the lyrics are bang on for the books/show themes. Apparently Jagger is a fan of Mick Herron's books so asked to do the TV show theme.

Mac Allister currently looks like a Dad playing with his kid and their mates. Just so out of sorts and fitness.

Fear the mockers

Was waiting for them to tire and make mistakes. They never did. Really good team. Fair play to them.

I would bet all I own it will be Palantir. They've worked long and hard for this.
September 25, 2025 at 5:36 PM
I'm surprisingly sanguine. Though I don't love these breakfast time kick-offs. Players sometimes look like they're still waking up.
