Even before this re-run the election petition I have found myself explaining to people how the British democratic system works. Mind you I also had to explain the American system to an American friend. Perhaps ignorance really is bliss?
I do find it funny that people who support parliamentary democracy and have a fit when I say I don't vote, don't really understand how the system actually works.
