If you are not familiar with the term "strawman," please look it up. Since the Trump administration has started, Trump and Republicans are starting to knock down the strawman that they created so that they can receive credit for the strawman arguments that they set up.

Be interesting if Hakeem Jeffries and one other Republican could help Mike Turner get his intelligence committee chair back. I think would need a new rules package, though.

Don't hypotheticals require answers also? The point is to ascertain how a nominee would respond to a given hypothetical scenario. The military literally test themselves against hypotheticals ALL THE TIME.
