So what I did was buy a cheap spider toy from an evil corporation and paint it up in the style of smaller “giant” spiders I did a few years back. Very happy with how my “Queen Spider” turned out.

Two weeks ago, I cleared out the junk from this backpack with the intention to use it. I set it down in a chair, and the #cat got to it first. Every time I consider just taking it back, she looks at me like this. 😩

My family and I just returned from a trip to Universal Studios and got to enjoy Super Nintendo Land! It was a really delightful place. If you have to pick between the Mario Kart ride and the Dinkey Kong Coaster, go DK.

These are made of rubber and they’re hollow and they’re definitely not the same quality as a nice resin miniature. With a base coat, a nice base, and a bit of work though, they can look pretty nice! Would definitely recommend if you need something affordable or just want to practice! #ttrpg

I have recently found myself needing more #dragons for my #DnD games. Actual dragon miniatures, unfortunately, tend to be on the expensive side. I recently discovered that Walmart sells a line of super cheap dragon toys. (Yes, I know they’re evil) #minipainting

Random #Zelda thought that doubtless brands me as an old fogey. The final battle in Ocarina of Time is still probably the best single moment in a Zelda game, at least in terms of setup, mood, and storytelling. The simple act of knocking the Master Sword out of your hands set the tone so well. #N64

Excited to bust these out at my next #dnd campaign game. I wanted some new Bluetooth speaker so i ordered these torch style ones. They already looked neat, but I wanted them more metallic. Applied some gunmetal paint and Mod Podge to seal it in, and they’re looking cool. Sound quality is great too!

And the houses that started the last week and a half of painting every night after the kids go to bed. A simple paint job, but I’m happy with the results.

This fella was unexpectedly the hardest. It’s funny because I ordered him thinking he’d be an easy paint job. You can’t always tell. I probably like his finished product the least. I can just see too many flaws when I look closely.

Had a really hard time with the face on this lady. The wash I use looked poorly and my attempts to correct it just kept making things worse. I fiddled around until it was acceptable.

I’m still considering whether or not I should add anything to the base for this one. I feel a pebble or a skull might look nice.

This is definitely most naked thing I’ve ever painted. 😂 On the plus side, the lack of clothing meant I finished her in around an hour. I considered gussying the base up a bit, but decided I liked the plain gold.

This tiefling was a bit of a rush job, but the end result turned out very well. Probably my favorite of the current batch.

A good friend recently 3D printed me some houses for #dnd. It set me off on a bit of painting spree. I did a succubus for an upcoming adventure, polished off two minis that been in my to-do pile for a while, and wound up ordering two more off my Etsy wishlist. Disclaimer: these look better in person
