Thought I should rebuild this Twitter thread on here. Back in April 2021, I made a list of predictions - future events and major news stories that seem completely inevitable or at least highly likely to happen during my lifetime. It has to be said that a lot of them are pretty grim...😬

I'm very pleasantly surprised at this outcome. And it didn't escape my attention that my local MP, @alistrathern.bsky.social, took a more liberal stance than my current and former party leaders (thank you, Alistair). Regardless of your view, this felt like Parliament at its absolute best.
