Is the Organometallic Express the first bakfiets bike in a chemistry journal?

If you give a chemistry talk at Cal Poly Pomona, I’ll personally give you a campus tour on the Organometallic Express!

See the farms, Arabian horses, rose garden, Japanese garden…

Another shipment of pins from @dorbitalgames.bsky.social arrived! We use these for NMR training for undergrads who pass an online and a practical training to wear on their lab coats. It’s a great motivator, and makes it easy to identify who has training.

We’re looking for dissolved O2 meter suggestions please #chemsky. For a lab-based 200 mL experiment where we need accuracy for 1-5% DO and ideally a small probe. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Happy that CO2 data catalyzed improving conference ventilation! The first 2-hour session at IRM GRC had a steady increase in CO2. The venue staff worked hard the first night to make changes, and the next day ventilation was much better! #chemsky
