Doesn’t have do be a chemical battery - pumped hydro or even hydrogen seem like good contenders. Flywheel and compressed air too but not in the same building as me please.

I’m always interested in just how feasible a grid based only on solar/wind might be. Can we build enough storage to smooth the demand?
