Unironically, I quite enjoyed the final one. I thought Lana Wachowski deconstructed, remixed, and examined the original’s legacy in some really interesting ways while simultaneously giving a middle finger to modern Hollywood’s franchise-hungry machine.

Owlboy is one of my favorite indie games of all time - It mixes the companion-based platforming of Kirby’s Dreamland 2 with the world-building of a Studio Ghibli film.

This game is gorgeous, fun, and it’s full of amazing characters, unique mechanics, stunning music, and a metric ton of heart.
