The thing about this very likely covid exposure is that I always feel oddly physically ill, including fever and medium trouble breathing, when I have my period. So right now I can't actually tell if I'm sick.

I will have to see if I can get an at-home test by maybe tomorrow night or so

There was a series I had the manhua and art book for like fifteen years ago (I think) where a guy transmigrated and landed in a noble/royal guy's outdoor bath and gets in intrigue (like scarlet heart but with fucking and less tears) and it had a ton of volumes iirc but what the hell was it🫠

The dad of the guy who gives me a ride to work has covid... which means he probably has covid... which means i probably have covid...

Wonderful.

I guess we'll see in the next few days (I am very vaccinated and mask and nasal spray often but i'm in a car with him closed up 5x a week most weeks)

They do the rofan thing of "I've never seen you as my sister/brother" thing which is fair because the backstory adds up but like the Minotaur is just so mean and Ariadne doesn't... move me as a female lead. And don't get me started on how Dionysius was wasted in this book 😔

Naur!! I will say that I do recommend much of KR's Olympus series EXCEPT for the minotaur/ariadne book because I found it to be tedious with a truly unlikeable male lead (and I once read and enjoyed a slasher dark romance inspired by the dudes from scream... So that's saying something)

I'm reading Court of the Vampire Queen and I'm 25% of the way in... it's fun. It reminds me of classic urban fantasy in some ways, only there's an MMMF relationship with swords crossing and being sheathed widely.
