It's time for Genealogy Jeopardy! 🎉 “My Ancestor Did What for 10":
Forget prisms and pyramids, this isn't about Pink Floyd! This St. John achieved a significant accomplishment, as if he was reaching for the stars from his heraldry, when his name was given to a crater on the dark side of the moon. 🌖

I received an email today from someone with some Welsh pedigrees. This particular one followed the Craddock line and identified the wife of Alexander St. John of Highlight in 1429 as Johanna Craddock. I’m waiting on the source citation info.

I'm now convinced more than ever that there is a "conspiracy" to screw up the St. John lineages. It began with Orline merging Mathew I and Mathias I. And for years, I have been convinced there were two Rachel Boutons. 1 married Mathewes and 1 married Mathias III.

Yes. Thomas Cromwell's sister Katherine married Morgan Williams. Katherine and Morgan were great great grandparents of Oliver. The Williams family changed its surname to Cromwell. Thomas was Oliver's great x 3 uncle.

Under the floor of St. Mary's Church rest the remains of Christopher St. John, Esq. of Highlight, Glamorgan, Wales. Maybe someday we'll get someone to open this up and collect a Y-DNA sample for Christopher or his son Oliver, for comparison to our project at FTDNA. #Highlight,Glamorgan,Wales

I was invited to write an article for The Hereditary Order of the Red Dragon about Welsh genealogical research. They agreed I could share it with you all when it’s published. It’s about the St. Johns of Highlight and what prompted them to leave Wales and ultimately participate in colonialism.
