Why is there 'an anatomical abomination' at every St John's College dinner?

Is St John's the only Oxford college with a portrait of a man in high vis?

Find out the answers to these questions and more with Dr Georgy Kantor, Keeper of the Pictures at St John's, this weekend.

#DYK that in August 1636, our newly-finished Laudian Library hosted a lavish feast for King Charles I, which cost an astonishing £2,666 - almost £500,000 now!

Come along to #OxfordOpenDoors to see the library yourself (tea and cake available in Hall for a lot less than that!)
