If I didn't teach US history I don't think I would have ever realized that judicial review is just a completely made up thing with NO guidance, rules, or limits. I am so glad I teach comparative government and not US government because I don't know how I'd teach it without getting fired in TX.

Sort of curious how many advantages you have to give before it occurs to you as a ref that they're just constantly fouling us and maybe a card should come out?

Like, did they not learn from what happened to the Astros thanks to Ted Cruz? All this analytics and data and you forget about raw superstition and bad vibes. Sad.

We have one of those spirit days next week - hadn't even thought about socks and slides. Going back to 94 here! Wish I had some jeans overall jorts but sadly it's been a while.
